Stitch Together is a nonprofit vocational training program for disadvantaged girls, ages 14-21. The goal of the program is to assist the participants in developing or strengthening their job skills in order to enter competitive employment market. Stitch Together teaches vocational skills through participant operation of an actual yarn shop and handicraft business.
PLEASE CONSIDER PURCHASING YOUR KNITTING & CROCHET SUPPLIES THROUGH OUR ONLINE SHOP. We also sell items handcrafted by Stitch Together participants.
The program also accepts donations of yarn and knitting & crochet equipment, patterns and books.
