LISA, Inc teams up with Southington Youth Services to tackle teen substance abuse

10/31/2017

LISA, Inc. is joining forces with the Southington Youth Services Bureau and the STEPS Coalition to offer a new, comprehensive range of supports to reduce substance abuse in Southington called  1-2-3 Prevention, Intervention and Recovery Program.  The multi-agency collaboration builds upon the strengths of each individual organization to offer specific programs to increase positive outcomes.  1-2-3 Prevention, Intervention and Recovery Program aims to improve Southington’s capacity to prevent adolescent drug use, intervene early, and offer recovery supports by supporting the families affected by use.
Funding for the 1-2-3 Prevention, Intervention and Recovery Program provided by a generous grant from the Bradley Henry Barnes & Leila Upson Barnes Memorial Trust at the Main Street Community Foundation.
